Do NOT add water to gel. It is ready to use as is. Use the least amount required. Dispense using nozzle. Apply to hair/skin as directed below. When using gel as part of the Hair Maintenance System, follow ALL steps (STEPS 1 through 8) as directed. Let hair fully air dry before bedtime. Wear a silk/satin scarf/bonnet/cap at bedtime to minimize lint/tangles. . If creating twists/temporary locks/locs, wash out gel BEFORE 8 weeks, or hair may begin to permanently form locks/locs. Store in a cool, dry, dark place ONLY in this black opaque container away from humidity, heat, and all light. Use within 6 months of purchase.
Instructions for Use
As a SETTING LOTION: Apply as directed above. However, OMIT Moisturizing Mist (STEP 6) only if utilizing gel on relaxer-treated, flat ironed, or hot combed (pressed) hair to achieve STRAIGHTEN styles. Set hair as desired. Air dry or use LOWEST heat setting.
To REACTIVATE GEL, lightly mist hair with: 1) Moisturizing Mist (STEP 6) every 3 - 4 days (during detangling) to maintain coily/curly hair, a ‘wash & go’, braids, twists, locs, and for added softness OR 2) distilled water when using gel as a setting lotion for locs or straighten styles.
As a SKIN GEL: Apply to skin like any lotion to moisturize skin.
